Your Patience and Patronage is Always Greatly Appreciated! Do to personal circumstances, we're not a couple anymore, but do still have many exotic and wonderful things to sell, although not the ability to sell them directly on the web- So please talk to us, or send an email for more information on what's available and how to order.
(please see contact info below)
We were formerly known as "Rajastani Gujurati Tribal Imports from India" (which proved to be a bit too long in the tooth for promotion). We were a basic 'mom and pop' operation.
Stephanie and Jeffrey (known as steffnjeff) live in Takilma, a small village of like minded souls in the splendid southwestern corner of Oregon on the Pacific coast of the USA. Since we're not together anymore, we need to get rid of the remaining stuff! So look for some good deals...(wink)

We have given up on the online store!
Please accept our heartfelt apologies for any inconvenience or annoyance this may cause if you'd like to order something from us!

And be advised that we are always ready to assist you in any way we can otherwise, and that you can always contact us anytime in a few ways with the following information -

-What We Have To Offer -
Beside our extra ordinary appreciation and experience of India we have an unusual assortment of items we gather from there. You may have seen our traveling store (picture of one version above) at a number of Belly Dance shows or other vending opportunities we have attended throughout the Pacific Northwest of America for the past 25 years. We keep a fantastic collection of embroidered clothing, decorations and goods from primarily the Tribal Peoples of Northwest India and Southern Pakistan to share.
Materials that are perfect for Dancers, Costuming and Decorating home or stage, use them for whatever you like!
Sari's hand embroiderd with base in silk chifon, georgette, so called "tissue" and brocade weaves. The colors and combinations seem endless!
(prices vary according to the work and condition of each piece)
Choli (halter tops) are one of more more popular hard to find selections-
Gagra (skirts) and Shawls (odni), ethnic dancing outfits, most with mirror work on them.
We also carry the beautiful and intensely
Embroidered Wall Hangings and animal dressings of the people who make and use them in their daily lives and for special occasions.
Also in stock we usualy have assortments of
Scarves in cotton/rayon combos,
Bindi (sometimes called third eye jewelry),
"White Metal" Chain Belts (some with coins) and
Anklets or Wristlets, both fancy and plain styles.
Tassels known as "parandi" or "chotia" and typicaly braided into womens hair in India, beaded and plain floss styles with large and small sizes.
(one style has metal sequins that jingle when jangled, an exclusive made for us in Rajastan)
Stash Tins we also sell small metal containers made of brass or stainless steel,
Paper Products (posters, cards and miniature painting reproductions),
Amber Paste Perfume and a few other things we find of interest from the subcontinent.
Please ask for available selections by email or phone any time and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
We will also try our best to assist you in finding whatever you are looking for from India elsewhere if we can't supply it.
Thanks for your interest and stopping by.
Many Blessings!
from steffnjeff
